Background

Born 1951. Studied art and then fashion at Manchester School of Art, University, and RCA. FFCDE. Worked within the fashion industry for many years as a designer, supplying stores such as Debenhams,, Wallis, M&S, and others in the UK, as well as other stores worldwide such as Victoria’s Secret, Barneys, Mitsukoshi, El Corte Inglés, etc. Designed the Jerry Hall range of lingerie and nightwear. Visiting lecturer at many colleges, and groups, including Hampton Court Palace Guild of Broderers.

Moved into Local government in 1996 initially into Economic Development, and then Education. For the ten years before retiring in 2004, was Head of Service, Strategic Manager for Enterprise and Skills in South Tyneside Council.

He has lived in Yorkshire (uk) and Naxos for the past eleven years, and considers he has two homes.
